The Paperwhite 2 can use 5.10.1.1. If you want to update it, you can still download the firmware at:

According to DuckieTigger, if you're at 5.9.7, updating to 5.10.1.1 shouldn't be a problem (as per Customer Service comments).

Just realized, there may still be a difference between U.S. and U.K. firmware? (Seems like all that has gone away, but I'm not sure?
