My kindle came with 5.9.7, I updated from website a few days later to 5.10.1.1. Was delivered to me on 30 Oct 2018.
I deliberately wanted a PW3, not the new PW4.
I actually read in the house on my Kobo H20 original and outdoors on the Sony PRS350 or my phone (Aldiko Reader). I have a Kindle so as to buy eBooks from Amazon and see what my own titles look like on a Kindle. I did get the DXG so as to manage A4 PDFs, but it's not good enough, the Kobo H2O manages better and is also no use for old magazines scanned to PDF. I'll probably give the DXG to someone with failing eyesight. I've deregistered it.
