you can probably make it work indirectly by setting a higher update frequency but I don't know what that will do to energy consumption ^^;

How can I find out how the buttons are treated? I don’t have shell access or really anything beyond what the kobo can do out of the box save for patches and a few mods (night mode, and your clock and screensaver ones).
I’ll happily test stuff. I can tweak the update frequency easily enough
