I'm really torn -- I think the early Angela Thirkell books are great good fun. But I've already read
Wild Strawberries. So I guess I'll use my last ticket to second
The Secret History of the Pink Carnation. I might end up reading it regardless, just to see how it relates to
The Scarlet Pimpernel, which I'm definitely going to listen to now that I have a Wanda McCaddon narration of it.
