The battery is not replaceable unless you utterly destroy the Oasis 2....
My Oasis is on its way back to Amazon, should have a replacement one by next week. My expectations are very low, battery-wise, but I’ll be keeping it whatever happens. (Or I’ll sell it privately and buy a new Paperwhite!).
