That's something that happens with all popular devices that have some sort of small issue -- users are sometimes so bothered by even the smallest things (I remember the bright "pixels" on a few older Kobo devices, or even the first PW and its lighting issues) that they magnify them to the point that they seem huge. It stands to logic, however, that the people posting here represent only a tiny, tiny percentage of the people who actually buy these devices, and well... if they were such huge issues I guess you'd see articles about it, right? Surely everyone must ask for a refund, in that case.

I'm not saying I don't understand, or that people shouldn't complain or be angry, of course: I asked for a refund back when I bought the first Aura because I couldn't not see the lines in the capacitive layer. My Glo HD also has a couple of small bright dots... that I never notice, and I'm still using it everyday. Devices of all kinds can come with small manufacturing defects, but it's up to us to decide whether we care or not. We should always decide for ourselves.
