Yes, it is. I'm still wincing about September, when three of four purchases were a case of the sale creating the want. I can't keep patting my own shoulder about doing so much better last year and this year when I slip up like that.

(Good lord, it gets worse still. I've already bought more books and spent more money this year than I did all of last year!
I hadn't realized until I went looking now. Granted some of that was pushed by credit I felt compelled to use, but!)
