I actually would like both on Vlad. Infomation on him and his time and his cruelties. If it end up being 2 different books that is fine.

You might want to check out some of the books written by Florescu and McNally, a pair of professors. Dracula, Prince of Many Faces is probably the most accessible. Florescu is apparently distantly related to him. Vlad III is a character who was mostly documented by his enemies (kind of like Hannibal in that regard) so how much of this is true and how much is propaganda is difficult to tell. Cruelty was pretty common back in that time period though.
