No, you spent an hour registering a Kobo account with Kobo. Now you have to tell your ereader what your account with Kobo is, so it knows who’s account it needs to sync with.

There should be an option to do that from Kobo Desktop, but I can’t help you as I’ve never done it through the Desktop application.
