There's one more thing that should be considered when talking about batteries.

There's reported battery state (i.e. percentage you see as displayed on screen), and there's actual battery state.

My H2O displays battery state quite differently from my KA1. On H2O when it drops to 30%, I know it is time to start charging it, or I might found myself out of battery. But, on KA1, even if there's a few sudden drops in percentage, it is a bit linear and I don't need to worry even with 10%, I know I have a day or maybe even two of reading and even with 0% I can read for hour or two.

To be able to know how long full deep cycle lasts, you always need to push device to the very limit (i.e. when it stops working to protect battery from emptying too much).
