It is not only mine experience.
I read posts here from people who don't use koreader and use only nickel. And, who had H2O before and switched to KA1. They first reported smaller battery, reduced battery autonomy.
These people's reports where pronounced as false, I just chimed in and said that these reports are similar to mine and that I noticed that my devices act according to these reports, i.e. KA1 has half battery life from H2O.
Of course, I understand that people who have only KA1 may think it is not so, but it is so. KA1 lasts much shorter than H2O (i.e. half the time). It is simple fact, anyone who has both devices can check it after some time (testing in real life reading conditions takes time, weeks, even months).
