And yet, my battery on my KA1 lasts very well, similar to other devices, and definitely nowhere close to half the time of previous devices. (And I have the light on all the time, usually in the orange spectrum, use nickel, have wifi off all the time)
I was mainly objecting to the previous poster's statement that another person was plain wrong. Not that no one would experience such a difference in battery life.
As you did, giving your own personal experience is useful for others to gauge the general experience, stating that it is definitely that way for everyone, not so useful.
