You realize only some books ever get/got a whispersync discount? It's never been something that every book offers. It's only a whispersync deal if you buy the eBook and it happens to be a title that offers a discount on the audio (most books do not offer this and never have even if they're WS compatible and the deals do seem to be offered less and less).

Can't really say how it was displayed on Amazon as I'd often look at Audible and see if the book offered a whispersync discount, not Amazon. I thought what Amazon displayed depended on what if any Audible membership you had, but not sure about that. Maybe I'm just not understanding.
