If Kindle was bricking your Kindles it was something personal. None of mine were ever bricked.

None of my Paperwhites have been 'bricked" and the Voyage I gave to a student wasn't "bricked" and the Oasis 2 I returned quickly to Amazon wasn't bricked so if you're was, it was personal.
