About kobo customer service, in 2013 i bought Kobo aura HD, and after 2 years of use i saw my dog carrying it in his teeth and that broke a screen. my kobo was dead.as i live in non eu country i contacted kobo in germany about the screen "issue" not telling them a real cuse.
Although that happened 2 months over a warranty period, they replaced my kobo with a new one (still working).
I'm very happy with kobo CS.
i had to pay dhl costs only for returning the device, and got one back with no costs.
