It depends on your device and how you send items to it. (I don't know anything about how/what the Galaxy Tab displays.)

It shouldn't matter, though. 5.5 is exactly the same value as 5.50, just like 01 is exactly the same value as 1. Trailing zeroes after a decimal point don't change the value of the number at all.

If the issue is that you want it to look a certain way, then you can set up a custom plugboard for Calibre to use when sending the book to your device, and format the series number to only allow one digit after the decimal point.
