Sometimes the free books on Amazon are a good move on Amazon's part. 4-5 years ago, I got Robin Hobb's "Assassin's Apprentice" for free. I have since bought 8 subsequent books at full price, cuz that one was so good! Good move, Robin Hobb's publisher!
