Yep. You can use it on your Fire without issues. The developer is pretty good on keeping it Kindle Fire compatible. The one time it was broke for the Fire, I emailed them and was able to help test the fix for it. I've been using the App from way back when it only supported plain text without formatting. It's come a very long way.
I've tried many eReader apps but always come back to Moon+
