Anyway, I see the new Paperwhite will have a flush screen that some articles today say is glass. This had me wondering if this will make it look as nice as the Oasis screen. I then realized that the Voyage also has the flush screen and may serve as a good example of what we can expect the Paperwhite 4 screen to look like. So is there anyone who owns both the Voyage and the Oasis and can comment on how close the Voyage come to the Oasis in screen quality?

I have both. I have never noticed a difference in sharpness, but I have not gone looking either. Both look very good to me. Kindle lighting has always been a mixed bag. The lighting on my Oasis is much more even and on the same level setting, it is brighter. The unevenness on the Voyage is most noticeable on very low levels (some cones and shadows at the bottom. In pitch dark, I read at level 6 on the Voyage and am very happy with the lighting on the Voyage. As a personal preference, I do prefer the creamier (less blue) light on the Oasis. If ambient light is bright enough to read, I turn the Oasis light off, because at levels above 10 it drains the battery too fast for me. In a bright room it can shoot up to 22.
