The do the status restore, select the books you want to do this for and choose the "Store/Restore current bookmark" option in the plugins menu. Then set the options as needed. That will set the status, the last read date and reading position.

If you just want to mark the books as read, you can use the "Update metadata in device library" function. The options for reading status are at the bottom of the dialog.
