I have a PaperWhite 3 on 5.9.6.1. I have just bought it and I have turned it on, but I haven't connected it to wifi.

Before buying it I think I read somewhere that if you don't connect to wifi you can downgrade and then jailbreak it but can't find that thread anymore.

Any way to jailbreak this without via software rather than via the serial port method?
