The US Kindle Daily Deal looks to be a bunch (88) of first-in-series titles, across many genres - and also some starter novellas and stuff like that. Not sure that there aren't a few other titles in there, but the first couple pages of books look mostly as if this is the case. I am on an incredibly (!!!) slow internet link at a motel, so haven't checked a lot of the titles at Kobo US, but the four I did check were price-matched at Kobo US.

So, if you've been wanting to try a new series, or need to pick up a starter for a series you're already reading, it might be worth taking a look today...
