Series management is not a priority for me as I generally prefer standalone fiction. I use calibre only to format shift to Kindle, which only involves about one book a month (and then I usually don’t even get around to reading it!).

Still it would be an obvious thing for Amazon to do, as it would probably increase sales of series titles as people try to complete their collections (especially if they inserted placeholders for the titles you don’t own). I boldly predict it will happen in the next year.
