I get what you're saying. They aren't nirvana, but for many of us, once B&N is gone that will leave zero book stores. I read ebooks, but I will miss book stores.

There are two major shopping centers where I live. One has B&N, the other had Borders. Since Borders closed, I never go to the other shopping center.

Who knows, maybe once B&N closes, small mall bookstores will open again. I'm not counting on it, but it's a nice, hopeful thought.
