Yes, everybody should take a look at Guttenberg (I was actually a volunteer typist for them in the early 90s). But, if you are like me and primarily read genre fiction, your options aren't that big. I've read all but a handful of the science fiction, fantasy, western and detective novels that are there. Each year only brings one or two new ones of interest. Sigh. I have a couple of Jules Verne and Max Brand left, but that's about it. Oh and the new John Williams Hopkins sea yarn. This isn't a critique about Guttenberg - they can only do what has become available copyright free. One of the books I typed had to be removed because of the stupid Mickey Mouse Protection Act.
