The new Doctors are fine, but honestly, in many ways, I prefer the OGDW. At the rate that the "new" Doctors were going--Chris Eccleston(e) (sp?), David Tennant, Matt Smith, I was starting to think that the next Doctor would either come out with prepubescent acne or diapers. I mean...c'mon already! Then they decided to give the Doc some gravitas again...(sigh). I do have to admit, I thought Tennant was brilliant in the role.
It's funny how being the Doctor, which used to be a bit like having had a gig in Star Trek (typecast for eternity, just ask Tom Baker), is now sorta like Sherlock/Cumberbatch; instant pop-culture fame. Wild.
