Apparently Amazon applies the same logic to Canada as Kobo does to Australia . Amazon have always (especially on their higher end models) seemed to be priced out of line in Canada vs the US. Although, even when the exchange rate is relatively stable, Kobo also does charge a premium in the US vs what you can buy the device for in Canada with US $ so go figure.
