I get that people know that the Aura Ed. 2 has Overdrive built in, but they won't know that they can also download and read them on their older readers, if the keep them, once the newer reader has sync'd and added the Overdrive book to their Kobo library. I_m_sherlocked is right, you still need to have a reader with Overdrive support if you want to be able to download Overdrive books directly to your reader(s), you just don't have to read exclusively on the new reader. What I meant was that I don't expect Kobo owners to buy an Aura Ed. 2 so they can read Overdrive books on the Kobo readers they already have. If they're buying a reader specifically for the Overdrive support, they'll buy whichever reader has the screen they want to use for reading.

I have a Glo HD, and I opted to spend the extra $20 for the Clara HD's better screen. And, if my wife ever gets over her irrational dislike of ebook readers, both of us will be able to check out books from the library and read them on whichever reader we're using.
