I my case you are wrong, I have read paper books with flaws, but, for example, a coffee stain would appear on one page. I have also bought paper books in pristine condition, read them with care, and they have still been in extremely good condition.
An ereader with light bleeding or dead pixels is like all my paper books with the same defect on every single page. I cannot tolerate that, if you can, well, good for you, but there is no reason to judge others.
