Here are the instructions:

1. Navigate to https://wiki.mobileread.com/wiki/Kobo_Firmware_Releases.

2. Scroll down and find version 4.9.11311 (it's actually version 4.9.11314 for Mark 4 devices, such as the Mini, and I don't know why it is not in a separate cell).

3. Click "Download" for Mark 4 (4th column from left). Make sure it is definitely Mark 4.

4. Plug your Mini into your PC (or Mac).

4. Extract the downloaded .zip file, and copy all 3 components into the .kobo folder on the Mini.

5. Safely eject your Kobo and let the update install.

6. You now have firmware version 4.9.11314 (the latest possible for Mark 4 devices) running on your Mini.

7. Enjoy!
