MobileRead Forums - View Single Post - Can't export library or add book to device.

So I'm trying to back-up my library like I have done in on past installs but I don't get the options in the device drop-down to export and I tried to add a book to my nook and the 'send to device' option is greyed out when I have that book selected.

I'm running Linux, is it something to do with permissions? In the past Calibre has just worked. I installed Calibre from the instructions on the site and not through the repositories for my distro so I have the latest version.

EDIT: Oh yeah, I get this error when trying to save to disk: calibre, version 3.32.0
ERROR: Not allowed: You are trying to save files into the calibre library. This can cause corruption of your library. Save to disk is meant to export files from your calibre library elsewhere.
