Hello everyone,
I used Aura (N514) as my navigation device (XCSoar) generally, so in boot mode I had these options:
Nickei | XCSoar | System
to use Aura as ebook I had to enter Nickei
Once I decided to upload new files, so I connected it to my Mac, though It didn't recognize device well, so I tried another method - System -> OTG Enable
I received a notification window that this feature was never tested on Aura (only on kobo mini and some others)
Of course I pressed YES
Of course I have a bricked Kobo Aura now %)
Nothing from mentioned methods how to manually reset are working, the device is fully charged, I tried:
1) pushing power for more than 30 sec,
2) holding light then repeately pushing power with different speed, delay, etc
3) holding light then pushing reset repeately
4) holding everything pushing everything the whole day and so on
The only reaction of my kobo is turning on - orange indicator in the right corner lights for2-3 seconds then screen goes black, then white again. No symbol or any other sigh since OTG button
Unfortunately my device has built in memory chip, so no sd card replacement is possible.
As far as I understood reading through the forum, I can try to upload kobo aura h2o image to my sd card and somehow make kobo read it.
Anyone please advice
