There is a small room off the entry hall of the house that is identified in the original builder's brochure for the house as "library" and it has a 6' (H) by 8' (W) built in shelving that we use for cookbooks. It is full and spilling onto the floor. This is one type of pbook that we are not likely to replace.

I am waiting on the new Mac Mini to get a computer into a kitchen cupboard that I can hook up to a monitor/TV on the wall, so that The Loved One can lookup new recipes, or ones I will scan from his books, or have found on the web already and saved. Currently he's always wandering over to my iMac to look things up, and I think he'd like this kind of access (and also the ability to watch his stories while slaving over a hot stove for my comfort).

I've only the one (an Epson Perfection 4990), and it's booked solid for old negative and slide scanning for about the next two years.
