Dates for William Farmer?
I'm now working on Three Years in Europe; or Places I Have Seen and People I have met by William Wells Brown, first published in England in 1851.

It contains a "Memoir of William Wells Brown", by William Farmer. I can't find any William Farmer of around this time, so can't give his dates.

Can I assume that this part of the work is in the public domain? Or can anyone give me his dates of birth and death?

I have the dates for William Wells Brown.
