The Echo Input seems to be just a Dot without an internal speaker, with not much price differential.
The one that fascinates me is the microwave. Since you do need to get up, walk to the microwave, open the door, and shove something in, how much benefit is there in speaking to the darn thing instead of pushing a button???

Look at all of that energy you've expended getting your food into the microwave. Pushing some buttons could be the difference in your inability to lift a fork after it's cooked and starving to death.
