I’m hoping a more streamlined Paperwhite will be announced soon, and I may get this for traveling. I had the first one, when they had the rough texture on the screen. I think what kills the Oasis battery life is the ten million LEDs (which do produce excellent, even lighting, I admit), so I hope they don’t add too many lights to the next Paperwhite.
I would love for someone to create a cover with an extra battery, similar to the ones you get for iPhones. But I know the Kindle Oasis is too niche a market for that to be viable.
