I emailed Likebook (Boyue) using the email on Amazon. I mentioned the ghosting and the lack of auto-refresh on third party apps. They replied that they have passed this on to their R&D department and that an update to fix this should be out in mid-October.
We'll see if that happens by then. However, I am impressed by how quickly they respond to customer emails and that they seem to be trying hard to make their products as good as possible. It's a hopeful sign.
