Too Like The Lightning by Ada Palmer, but astrangerhere enjoyed it, meanwhile we both obviously really liked
Never Let Me Go.
It shouldn't, I've seen enough of it, but I still continue to find this sort of thing surprising and intriguing. It's always: how can that be? (
