How to find out how much space left when in permanent aeroplane mode

I don't have wifi, by choice. Amazon registered my Paperwhite 2 at their end but it has never connected to the internet. The usual way of finding out how much space is let, by looking at Settings, doesn't seem to be available.

I've just bought a LARGE Delphi Collected Shakespeare (over 22mb) and need to know if the kindle has enough space. I would just try, but am concerned about turning it into a brick.

So is there a way to find out how much available space I have?
Thanks.
