KOReader Kobo install. A good download site.
KOReader includes a built in OCR function for PDF and Reflow. A full sized screen for image based PDFs is a much better way to read them, but if you want/have to read them on a smaller device, KOReader can make the experience endurable. The modern higher res screens help, as well.
