to me its a no brainer - NO
To me it's a no-brainer too, so much so that it's not even worth mentioning. The fact that the OP is now free to explore other options besides a Kindle should make it even more clear that getting a blacklisted Kindle is nonsense.

Edit: Here's a recent comment saying that Kindle app seems to work satisfactorily on an eink Android device https://www.mobileread.com/forums/sh...92&postcount=7
