Seems to be the case. Just looked at my device list. I did have the shopping app appear as one of my devices. I deleted an old android device that I don't use and the the related shopping device also disappeared. I never installed the shopping app on my android.

I have several Apple devices listed on my account--and they only appear once with no related device apps.
