Thanks for that--I know that the eye is still making landfall in a few locations (well, duh, obviously..) and that of course, the second half is typically actually worse than the first, plus the storm surge, etc. I appreciate you letting me know, and I hope you folks are all okay.
I forget which town it is, but
OF COURSE, some folks stayed, and are now stranded in flooded houses, and
OF COURSE are calling for F&R to come save their @$$es. Those fire and rescue folks are better beings than I; with so many days' warning to get the hell out...(shakes head). (I grew up on the E. Coast and survived many a hurricane--was caught out in a real doozy once, ON A BOAT, so...my theory of hurricanes is, get the Hades out of the way!)
