Yes and no.
The page number displayed on the device is calculated at run time. If you are reading epubs, it use the ADE calculation which Count Pages plugin supports. If you are using kepubs, the page number defaults to per chapter and each page is a screen. You can use full book page numbering, but that uses a similar algorithm to the ADE method.
If you want to add the page count to the synopsis, you can use my Kobo Utilities plugin to set the synopsis using a template that includes the page count. There is discussion on how to do this in the thread for the Kobo Utilities plugin.
