I assume you mean can't get the Kindle 1 any more?
If so, yes, you can't buy the K1 from Amazon. You would have to buy one from a third party. I think alot of sellers on eBay still have new ones since they were all trying to make a killing with the shortage. You can also find alot of used ones on the market now from people that have replaced them with K2s.
