That was painless, so far at least, clicked do it now, went up the street for some milk, by time I came back it was done.
Only obvious thing it meddled with was my taskbar - it reordered the icons. I have it configured to emulate the old quick launch bar; I drive it with WinKey+<digit> serquences, so the order of the icons is important to me.
