Google has released an update for its Chrome OS that enables select Chromebooks to run apps designed for Google Android and access Google Play Store. Right now, several mobile PCs from Acer and ASUS, are compatible with the new build, besides the Acer Chromebook Tab 10 mentioned above.

This release confirms Google’s intentions to enable Android software on its OS for PCs. As this gets rolled out the Acer R11 2-in-1 tablet can run Android and this one is available today.

I would be interest in anyone's opinion of this. How well does it work?
