Have you tried a brand new usb cord?

I have issues transferring books to my Kobo, and most of the cords seem to wiggle like crazy when I plug them in. I did not have a single cord that worked correctly with the Kobo... (And I had around 20 cords I tried, all of which worked fine with other devices).

Well, I decided to get a brand new cord... Never been used in anything... and what do you know... The brand new cord fits snugly and works perfectly. And has now been marked as the "Kobo cord", to only be used with the Kobo, and nobody can touch it for anything else...
