I was following you on your first three bullet points (though I'm unclear what NaNoWriMo demographics have to do with the breakdown of female vs male new library listings), but the fourth point is still completely irrelevant. Youtube's entire rai·son d'ê·tre is to give rank amateurs the ability to pretend they have advice to give. Auto-repair to cooking to minecraft-strategy to instrument repair to writing. Who cares?
