ADE 2.0.1 is a 32-bit app. It's fine with 10.13 (High Sierra). It should be fine with 10.14 (Mojave), but will almost certainly stop functioning with 10.15, in 2019. So I'm exploring options.
I was talking about the issues with Apple's media (books, movies), which Alf's tools don't handle.

Obsolete programs that stop working is a long time problem with Apple. Apple makes very little effort to maintain backward compatibility.

One suggestion that I would make is if you have multiple machines, put the latest and greatest ADE on one of the machines and see if you actually do have any issues or not. It may turn out to be not as much of an issue as you think.
